BYD is now the best selling EV brand in the UK with over 7 percent share, ahead of Tesla, Kia and Volkswagen, and the first Chinese brand to lead overall vehicle sales in Brazil. NEV exports up 70 percent year on year in April alone, at 135,098 units. The part that matters beyond the numbers: BYD is buying cultural terrain too, with Champions League sponsorship and creator partnerships across Europe.
