Terms of sale

Who you are contracting with

What is sold

A membership giving access, for its duration, to the weekly written search across the whole archive, RSS and API access, and an unlimited personal library. Everything published on the site remains free to read without a membership.

Price and duration

10 euros per year, all taxes included, charged once at subscription and renewed annually until cancelled. VAT is not applicable under article 293 B of the French tax code. Any price change applies only from the next renewal and is announced by email beforehand.

Payment

By card, through Stripe. Access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen days to withdraw without giving a reason, under article L221-18 of the French consumer code, and you keep it: no waiver is asked for at checkout. Write to the contact address above within fourteen days and you are refunded in full.

Cancellation

One click from your account page, at any time, with no explanation and no retention offer. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.

If something goes wrong

Write to [[ADRESSE DE CONTACT]] first. If we cannot agree, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [[MEDIATEUR DE LA CONSOMMATION A DESIGNER]]. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform. French law applies.

What is not promised

This is one person publishing by hand. Holidays and quiet days happen, and a morning with nothing worth your time will say so and stay short. What is promised is that nothing here is sponsored and nothing is written by a machine, as set out in the charter.
