The short version

No advertising, no third party trackers, no analytics that follow you around. Reading this site sets no cookie at all.

What is collected, and why

Reading the site: nothing. No account, no cookie, no tracker. The server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) as any web server does, for security and diagnosis.

The daily brief: your email address, and nothing else. It is used to send the brief and for no other purpose. It is never sold, never shared, never used to build a profile. Confirmation is required before the first email (double opt in), and every email carries a one click unsubscribe link. Legal basis: your consent, withdrawable at any time.

An account: email address, chosen username, and the links you save. Legal basis: performance of the service you asked for.

Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. This site never sees and never stores your card details.

How long

Subscriber addresses: until you unsubscribe, then kept inactive as proof that the unsubscribe was honoured. Account data: for as long as the account exists. Deleting your account deletes your links and votes with it. Technical logs: twelve months at most.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, under the GDPR. Write to [[ADRESSE DE CONTACT]] and it will be handled. An account can be exported and deleted from the account page without asking anyone. You may also complain to the CNIL.

Subprocessors

Infomaniak (hosting and email delivery, Switzerland) and Stripe (payment). No one else.
