Why it matters

The co-founders of Kick have launched Club, bundling subscriptions, tipping, paywalled content and an in-app currency into one creator monetisation platform. It came out of beta with 100,000 members. Another attempt to own the direct payment relationship between creators and audiences rather than leave it to the video platforms.
